Videocon Telecom continues to register best-in-industry growth rate; Achieves 5.6% growth in net subscriber additions in Jan’14




~ Continues to be among the top 3 players in industry net subscriber additions, across all operational circles, consecutively for last 7 months~

Regains No. 1 position in Punjab in Jan 14, where the telco has secured No.1 position in 6 out of last 7 months~

Feb 19, 2014: With a commendable growth rate of 5.6% over the previous month, Videocon Telecom has again registered best-in-industry growth in subscriber net addition for the month of January 14. In December’13 the brand registered a growth of 6.4%.

One of the highest net subscriber gainers across all circles, VideoconTelecom continues to be among the Top 3 players across its operational circles in Net subscriber addition consecutively for last 7 months. The company regained No. 1 position in Punjab in January’14 after slipping to No. 2 position in December’13. The brand is also consistently getting good traction from MNP customers and has been Net gainer on MNP.

Videocon Telecom is eyeing fair Customer and Revenue Market share in its operational circles. The plan is to achieve fair Customer and Revenue Market share in the state of Punjab and Haryana within next 1 year, and within next 2 to 3 years in MP and Gujarat telecom circles.


Within nearly a year of making a comeback into the telecom business, the brand’s subscriber base has grown immensely. This is a testament to the fact that Videocon Telecom is fast becoming the most preferred and admired telecom brand in the country.
